Wagoner Police arrest a man accused of beating his father to death.
Police say they got a call last Friday of a fight in the SW part of town and when officers arrived, they found the victim, on the ground.
They say witnesses told them, the suspect, Michael Nartaricola, had fled into the woods.
They followed a trail of dew and blood to the back of the house and found and arrested Nartaricola.
Police say the victim’s head from his nose, up, had been crushed, he had broken ribs, a punctured lung and his throat was swelling shut.
He was flown to a Tulsa hospital, but, died yesterday afternoon.
Police expect the charge against Nartaricola to be upgraded from assault with great bodily harm, to murder.
He’s currently being held in the Wagoner County jail, on no bond.
Police say they don’t know a motive for the attack at this time.
