Police are very aware of the increase in car theft and break-ins in Newcastle’s inner suburbs recently.
A strike force has been set up, and multiple police districts, highway patrol and Pol Air are part of the increased resources that have been assigned.
This is not limited to one suburb, and Police need to know when and where this occurring. Posting on social media is not the same as reporting to Police.
