Police are looking for suspects. According to Winston-Salem police:
Today, around 3:30 a.m., police were sent to the 600 block of Waughtown Street in reference to shots being fired.
Upon arrival, officers found evidence of gunfire but no people that were injured.
A short time later, a 29-year-old man arrived at the hospital for treatment after being hit by the gunfire on Waughtown Street. His injuries are non-life-threatening.
The Winston-Salem Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in this case.
