This is the man Tulsa Police are looking for in connection to last night’s brutal assault on an older woman in her home.
The affidavit says the woman was taking a nap when Elga Harper knocked on her door, asking if she had any jobs for him.
It says she had hired Harper in the past as a handyman, but told him she had nothing for him.
It says he asked to use the bathroom and she agreed but when he didn’t return, she went to check on him and found him standing naked in her bedroom.
It says he threw the woman to the ground and tore off her clothes, then put a rope around her neck and dragged her into the bathroom where he put another rope around her ankles and threw her into the shower.
It says she fell and hit her head and she was bleeding profusely so he took her to the bed where he strangled her.
It says he then asked her if she needed her dogs walked and she said yes, so he left for a minute and that’s when she called 911.
The affidavit says she has bruises all over her arms and legs and neck and 2 swollen, black eyes and broken blood vessels in her eyes and the gash on her forehead required surgery.
Police ask if you see Harper, to immediately call 911.
