KPD Investigating Shooting with Two Victims in Walter P. Taylor Homes
At around 12:43 p.m. today, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a shooting in the 400 block of Taylor Homes Road.
A male victim was found on scene suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
A short time later, a second man who had been shot showed up at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. The victim was transported to the UT Medical Center for further treatment and is expected to survive.
The shooting is under active investigation by the KPD Violent Crimes Unit, and that investigation is in the preliminary stages.
