Bretman Rock, a 23-year-old social media influencer, joined forces with the long-standing men’s magazine to shoot the brand’s first-ever gay male cover for its October 2021 digital issue.

The Filipino-born man wore the iconic black bunny corset – complete with bunny ears, cufflinks and bowtie.

Many Playboy readers took to Twitter to slam the magazine’s choice of cover model, with one calling the move “How to kill a brand in 9 seconds.”
