RawNews1st – WPD officers responded to 483 West Main ST (Lit Ultra Lounge) on a shots fired complaint. Officers located an adult male inside the bar with a sustained gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced as deceased at 2:37 AM.
Before officers arrived on scene, two other victims involved in this incident were self-transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital each with a sustained gunshot wound.
The victims were identified as a 35 year old male of New Britain, CT and 32 year old female of Bridgeport, CT. They were both treated for non-life threatening injuries.
WPD is working with the CT Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) to confirm the identity of the deceased victim.
Officicials arrest woman they say she tried sneaking drugs into facility twice
The Waterbury Police Department’s Major Crime Detectives are actively investigating this incident and the location of the shooting still remains a crime scene.
