DailyMail – One person was killed and 12 others injured at a Halloween party in Oklahoma City in the early morning hours on Saturday.
A ‘verbal altercation’ ensued just after midnight, which split into a fight that spilled outside the event center, Sergeant Jon Skuta told CNN.
‘Those people then went back into the event center where the shooting continued,’ he told the outlet.
One person was killed and 12 others were injured. Two are in critical condition, according to the local outlet.
Multiple people have been detained by police and police interviewed several witnesses. No arrests have currently been made.
Police Captain Valerie Littlejohn told News 9 they believe the shooting was targeted and there is no current threat to the public.
The shooter used a rifle, according to KFOR.
What caused the fight between the two groups is currently unknown.
