One person was injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon, according to South Holland police.
The parking lot of Power and Light Evangelistic Church on South Park Avenue, adjacent to Beacon Hill Preparatory Academy, is where, according to police, two men got into a domestic dispute.
Nobody in the congregation or school or any observers were hurt, police said. One of the men received a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police stated that a suspect is in custody despite the ongoing investigation. No additional details have been made public.
