One person was critically injured after shooting that happened on Interstate 57
In a shooting that happened on Interstate 57 in Markham on Sunday night, one person was critically injured.
According to Illinois State Police, the shooting occurred at 11:34 pm in the northbound lanes of I-57 close to 159th Street.
The victim and their car were struck by gunfire that came from a car. The victim’s life-threatening injuries were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
