One of the suspects in a kidnapping in Edmond last month has been arrested. Kadarryus Caples was apprehended in the Dallas metro area this afternoon.
Video of the June 14 robbery shows Caples and two accomplices forcing the victim into a car.
They stole $250,000 from her and assaulted her before dropping her off, according to a press release.
Investigators identified the car used in the crime as one rented by Caples’ girlfriend.
Authorities also found pictures on social media showing Caples holding the gun used in the crime and a large stack of money.
The OCSO says they identified Caples as a suspect in the kidnapping after identifying a rental car that was allegedly used during the crime. The car was reportedly rented to Caples’ girlfriend.
