RawNews1st – At around 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2022, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Bebo’s Cafe at 8111 Gleason Drive. Officers arrived on scene and found two shooting victims.
One male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while officers provided aid to the second male victim, who was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
The investigation, which is being led by the KPD Violent Crimes Unit, is in the early stages and remains ongoing at this time.
