The OK Bureau of Narcotics and DEA have arrested an Oklahoma police chief as part of meth distribution operation in southeastern Oklahoma.

OBN says Calvin, OK Police Chief Joe Don Chitwood was taken into custody today and booked into the Hughes County jail.

They say the investigation began in mid

April after getting information that Chitwood was both using and selling meth.

They say agents served a search warrant at Chitwood’s home in Wetumka where they a small amount of meth.

Chitwood faces charges of meth distribution.
