EAST CLEVELAND, OH — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old boy taken from his home in East Cleveland.
Major Johnson, 2, was last seen inside a white, 2008 Ford Focus, with the license plate L399591. The car has front-end damage and a black bag over the sunroof, according to the Amber Alert website. Johnson was wearing a gray and white shirt at the time of his abduction.
The driver of the car is Gerald Toney, East Cleveland police said. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police believe Toney is the ex-boyfriend of the boy’s mother, the Amber Alert website said.
Johnson was last spotted near Elderwood Avenue in East Cleveland. Anyone who sees the car or the missing boy should call 911.
