There’s a warning out for staff and visitors to downtown Louisville hospitals after reports of a man harassing people in the parking garages.
The message is coming from the Louisville Medical Education District (LOUMED). They said there have been multiple incidents of the man, identified by Louisville Metro Police as Antonio Coleman, exposing himself and gesturing to women walking through the area.
In an internal memo from Norton obtained by WHAS11 News, Coleman has been seen going up and down the Floyd Street corridor and in the parking garage connected to Norton Children’s Hospital.
Norton officials said they’re working with LOUMED and law enforcement to enhance security in the area. They encouraged anyone walking in the area to stay vigilant, use the emergency call boxes and to walk in pairs.
There’s also an escort system available to employees.
Anyone who detects suspicious behavior or feels unsafe can contact security at (502) 629-8500.
