Officers responding to the shooting performed CPR on a man they found suffering from a gunshot wound
Officers responded to a call about shots fired around 11:00 p.m. on Bulldog Lane near 6th Street in Fresno, California.
Officers responding to the shooting performed CPR on a man they found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as 31-year-old Joel Rueda.
Homicide detectives discovered that Rueda was shot in a nearby apartment.
Investigators are interviewing the occupants of the apartment and searching for additional witnesses.
