Off-duty police officer involved in shooting on city’s South Side: Chicago
An off-duty police officer was involved in a shooting on the city’s South Side early Tuesday morning, the Chicago Office of Police Accountability has confirmed.
The incident took place at Stony Island Plaza, a shopping mall at East 95th Street and South Stony Island Avenue in the South Deering neighborhood.
A number of Chicago police officers and detectives were on scene Tuesday morning after the shooting.
