RawNews1st – at approximately 4:00 a.m., Organized Crime Task Force Detectives (OCTF) conducted a multi-location search warrant along with the Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB), Major Crimes Bureau (MCB), Compton Special Assignment Officers (Compton S.A.O.) and Central Patrol Division Team, in the city of Compton.
During the service of the search warrants, several people were detained while the locations were searched by OCTF Detectives, MCB, Custody Investigative Services K-9 and Operation Safe Streets K-9 units.
Over two pounds of heroin for sales, approximately one ounce of cocaine for sales, methamphetamine for sales, digital scales, packaging for illegal narcotics and approximately $9,000.00 in U.S. currency, were seized from the locations.
OCTF Detectives also recovered (3) rifles, (10) handguns, and a large amount of ammunition from the locations.
It should be noted that several of the firearms were stolen, and some of the firearms were ghost guns with no serial numbers.
