This evening, at 7:20 p.m., Ocala police responded to Jervey Gantt Park in reference to shots fired. The shooting occurred in a parking lot during a youth football game.
One adult male victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Police are actively investigating this incident.
