Indicted: Nursing Assistant Filmed Himself Sexually Abusing Disabled Children In Group Home

A certified nursing assistant who worked at a California group home for severely disabled patients was indicted for multiple child exploitation crimes.

Steve Jackson Rodriguez, 37, is charged with 6 felonies including 4 counts of producing child pornography.

Per indictment: Rodriguez produced child pornography with 3 minor victims, 2 of whom were severely disabled patients at a group home that employed Rodriguez.

One victims was 8 years old. He also filmed his sexual encounters with another minor victim, whom Rodriguez enticed into engaging in sex and lewd acts.

Rodriguez could face a maximum of life in prison if convicted as charged, and a minimum of 15 years for each of the 4 child pornography counts.
