New York Police Car Strikes Crowd, 4 People Hurt

An NYPD vehicle struck a group of people in the Bronx Thursday afternoon, including a child.
The car was on its way to an assignment when it was cut off in traffic; the driver swerved and hit the pedestrians at the intersection of Hoe Avenue and Westchester Avenue, police said.
A total of 4 people were hit; their conditions were not immediately clear.
