2-year-old New York boy starved to death after dad died of heart condition
The bodies of David Conde Jr., 2, and David Conde Sr., 59, were discovered in their home in Hamilton Street, Geneva, on February 15. Ontario County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) deputies said on Monday that Conde Sr. had died first as a result of cardiovascular disease.
Investigators said his son died of starvation sometime after Conde Sr. perished, the newspaper reported.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 805,000 people in the U.S. have a heart attack every year.
