NATO to Discuss No-fly Zone and “All Options”
NATO’s foreign ministers will meet on Friday, after Sec Gen Jens Stoltenberg claimed the Zaporozhskaya nuclear power plant incident demonstrated the “recklessness” of the war.
The alliance chief said the purpose of the US-led alliance meeting – attended by US Sec State Anthony Blinken – is to coordinate NATO’s response “and also the longer-term implications”, but insisted it is not part of the conflict.
Spanish FM Jose Manuel Albares claimed NATO would discuss a no-fly zone, despite the alliance consistently stressing that or other interventions risk direct clashes with Russia.
