NATO starts nuclear deterrence exercises with US strategic bombers
According to the North Atlantic Alliance, the annual Steadfast Noon nuclear deterrence exercise started on October 17 with the participation of air units from NATO members.
60 aircraft from 14 NATO nations will participate in the air drills, which will last through October 30 over Belgium, Great Britain, and the North Sea.
According to NATO, no military equipment will be utilized aboard planes during the scheduled rehearsal, which has nothing to do with current international affairs.
