Narcotics Investigation in Fayetteville Leads to Search Warrant and Arrests

(Fayetteville, NC) – A months-long narcotics investigation led to a search warrant and two arrests. The investigation was related to the sale and distribution of drugs from a residence.

A months-long investigation conducted by the Fayetteville Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Suppression Unit (NVSU) resulted in a search warrant on a residence in the 1700 block of Rim Road on March 9, 2023. Two individuals were arrested.

The following were seized as a result of the search warrant:
27.3 grams of Fentanyl
18 grams of Cocaine
124 grams of Marijuana
1 9 mm handgun

Michael Herman (white male, 26 years old) was charged with two counts of Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Sell/Distribute Cocaine, and Maintaining a Dwelling.
Herman was issued a $50,000 secure bond.

Christopher Herman (white male, 42 years old) was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell/Distribute Marijuana.
Herman received a $2,500 unsecure bond.
