Authorities said a dispute on a train around 8:30 p.m. spilled out onto the platform, where a 34-year-old man was shot. He is in critical but stable condition, according to New Haven police.

New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson said the two suspects were last seen Wednesday night on a bus heading toward the New Haven Green.
“They got on another bus, so now we’re still going through the footage of the other buses to find out their exact location,” Jacobson said Thursday morning.
