On May 14, 2022, at least ten people were killed in a mass shooting in Buffalo, NY.
One of the lives claimed was that of Mother Pearl Young, a long-time member of the Church Of God In Christ.
Mother Young is also the sister of Bishop G.H. Young.
She is remembered as a phenomenal Sunday School Teacher, a great cook, and most of all a lover and praiser of God.
The entire constituency of the Church Of God In Christ is praying for Bishop Glenwood H. Young, Sr., the entire Young family, the Good Samaritan COGIC, and all the saints and family in Western New York who have been affected by this tragedy.
