Texas Mother Charged With Capital Murder After Bringing 5-Year-Old Daughter To Hospital With Bag Still Around Her Head
The woman told authorities her daughter was an “evil child” and she wanted to end the girl’s life so she didn’t have to deal with her any longer.
On Monday morning, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez identified the woman as 37-year-old Melissa White Towne. She has been booked into the Harris County Jail.
It was revealed in court that the 5-year-old allegedly screamed out “I’ve been good” as her mom tried to strangle her. Towne reportedly told officials she cut the child’s throat before strangling her for 30 to 40 minutes.
Gruesome new details have been revealed in the case of a Texas woman who was charged with capital murder after authorities said she admitted to killing her 5-year-old daughter.
