Monterey Park Police Shoot, Injure Person Outside Fire Station

MONTEREY PARK ā Monterey Park Police Department officers Monday shot and injured a person outside the Monterey Park Fire Department.
According to initial reports, there was some sort of altercation between authorities and the person at the fire station in the 300 block of West Newmark Avenue, though it was not immediately clear what specifically led up to the shooting.
The person, who was described by authorities as a suspect, was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
