MoneyLion Locks Customer Accounts Following Attacks
Attacks using malicious password/username combinations have apparently been used to hit the digital banking firm.
MoneyLion announced that some customer accounts were targeted in widespread credential stuffing attacks over the summer – but claims s a “very limited number were potentially impacted.
“However, it’s emerged that outside parties used the companies own passwords to enter to view some of the 8.5 million US users’ private data.
