Police are searching for twin babies that were taken after a shooting in Savannah.
According to Savannah police, officers were called to a shooting on 36th Street where a woman was shot. Twins Matto and Lorenzo, who are 6-weeks-old, were taken from the home following the shooting by a woman, who is possibly named Kathleen.
The shooting victim is being treated for serious injuries.
The suspect may be traveling a white sedan, possibly a Kia Optima. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.

Officers have located the twins and taken the suspect into custody. The twins are safe! More details will be released later. SPD thanks everyone who shared the information and called in tips!

UPDATED INFO (Updated at 1:10 pm): Today around 10:20 am officers responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of NE 36th Street where an adult female was shot. She is being treated for serious injuries. Twins Matto and Lorenzo, who are 6-weeks-old, were taken from the residence following the shooting by the black female in the photos who is possibly named Kathleen. Any information on “Kathleen” or the twins should contact police immediately by calling 911.
SPD is looking for a black female possibly named Kathleen(photo from previous day). She has 6-week-old boys named Matto and Lorenzo who were taken during a shooting on NE 36th Street. She is traveling in a white sedan possibly a Kia Optima. Anyone with info call 911!
