Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn files restraining order against Pelosi and injunctive relief against Jan. 6 committee

The retired Lt. General filed a restraining order against Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday in a Florida court, alleging the speaker and the Jan. 6 House select committee are attempting to bankrupt and destroy him for his association with Trump.

“The Select Committee—assuming the role of shadow prosecutor for the January 6 attack […] has diverted its attention from its important work to target General Flynn for a quasi-prosecution that is either aimless or transparently partisan,” the court filing read.

Flynn has also filed a declaratory and injunctive relief to prohibit the enforcement of a subpoena issued by the Select Committee demanding the general’s communications about the 2020 election.
