Michael Brestel has now pleaded guilty to 5 counts of sexual abuse of a child and possession of child pornography and was sentenced to 35 years in prison.
The affidavit filed by Broken Arrow police had said the victim initially received texts from someone claiming to be 14 and living in another state.
Were actually from Brestel and those texts turned sexual, including nude and partially nude photos exchanged and he encouraged the girl to have sex with him.
It said the girl told police, while she and Brestel were having sex, he used a camera to keep track of the girl’s mother’s whereabouts.
Police say they recovered the camera and other items of evidence.
It says the girl told her mother about the abuse, who contacted DHS, who contacted police.
