May 18, 2022- 9:14 a.m.
MEMPHIS, TN – On Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 6:00 pm, officers responded to the 4700 Block of Neely Road in reference to a Business Robbery.
Officers were adviaed that a black male suspect entered the business where he approached the front register as if he was going to make a purchase.
Officers stated the suspect then brandished a silver and black handgun at the cashier and demanded the money from the safe and the register.
Officers stated the suspect went behind the counter and took the money from the safe. The suspect then exited the business’s front door and fled the scene on foot.
Suspect Description: Black male, mid-twenties, 5’6, 160lbs, medium build, blue jean jacket, white t-shirt, and black face mask.
No arrests have been made at this point.
This is an ongoing investigation.
