RawNews1st – Another day of cartel violence continues in Mexico, Members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel lead a shootout and torch a local Oxxo store while children can be heard screaming in the background.

Following the riot, the Mexicles rampaged in the city, authorities said, killing nine civilians. Among them were four employees of a radio station, including one announcer, Mejia said.

According to Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, the terror followed a confrontation involving police and the Mexican military with cartel members amidst a “meeting of two gangs” in the state of Jalisco that led to a shoot-out and arrests.

Some reports indicate the meeting was between Doble R and a leader named “El Apa” from the rival Cartel de Sinaloa
