A woman I’ve reported on numerous times before is facing a new burglary charge filed on January 18th.
I told you last fall, Melissa Sweet had been arrested for the 5th time in the span of a few months.
In the September case, the report said Sweet broke into a car in a casino parking lot and stole a woman’s purse and phone and tried to use the victim’s debit card.
November 15, 2023: Sweet charged in that case.
October 31, 2023: Sweet was charged with misdemeanor unauthorized use of a credit card.
October 18, 2023: Sweet was charged with 15 theft related felonies
September 18, 2023: Sweet was charged with 4 theft related felonies.
September 4, 2023: Sweet charged with 3 theft related felonies.
January 18, 2024: charged with burglary (stealing items from a home)
She also has been to prison for theft/forgery/burglary related crimes.
The current charges are not convictions.
