Rapper Megan Thee Stallion was expected to take the stand sometime today in her trial against Tory Lanez regarding accusations of an alleged shooting incident in Chicago this past September.
The trial, which began on Monday, started with both sides laying out their version of the night’s events, which ended with Megan Thee Stallion being allegedly hit with a bullet in the foot. She says Tory pulled the trigger, while Lanez‘s team has laid out other possibilities, including another passenger firing the shot.
On the witness stand on Tuesday, Stallion testified emotionally, saying she couldn’t believe she had “to come up here and do this,” claiming another passenger in the vehicle she and Lanez were riding in, named Kelsey Nicole, and Tory began fighting and that was what made her leave the vehicle in the first place.
At the point she started walking away, Megan said she heard Tory say, “dance b***h,” and saw him pointing a gun at her before she was shot.
Already on probation, Tory, she, testified, then told her not to say anything about the injury, “and I’ll give you a million dollars,” adding how she can remember how Lanez seemed more worried about himself than Megan. Kelsey Nicole, Megan says, she never saw holding the gun.
