Mebane Police DepartmentSecond-Degree Murder and Concealment of a Death
On September 5, 2021, Eric Mosher filed a missing person report with the Burlington Police Department indicating he had not seen Yvonne Cavallo since August 17, 2021.
As Burlington Police Department investigated this incident, they determined Eric Mosher’s statements were untruthful regarding her disappearance.
The Burlington Police Department, Graham Police Department, and Mebane Police Department investigators worked collaboratively where they determined Eric Mosher was involved in a dispute with Yvonne Cavallo where Mosher killed and discarded Cavallo’s body.
On September 29, 2021, investigators located Cavallo’s remains on Cherry Lane just outside of Mebane.
Mosher has been charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a death and has been placed in the Alamance County Jail.
