DC Air National Guard conducted air defense drills over the Chesapeake Bay and was cleared to go supersonic during an alert scramble exercise. People trippin on Twitter.
I heard/felt it here in DC too.
Also, BREAKING NEWS : we are getting reports that a Aircraft just crashed near Staunton, VA Fighter Jets didn’t shoot it down after it was flying to low past Washington D.C. Unclear how many people were on board.
They’re scrambling fighters out of Andrews AFB now, apparently. Looks like they allowed aircraft to fly unresponsive right over downtown DC.
At this point, since they didn’t down the aircraft before overflying DC, they will most likely just let it crash once it is starved of fuel. Very sad for the families of anyone on board.
