Early Thursday, a masked gunman robbed a restaurant in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
According to police, the suspect entered the restaurant just after midnight in the 2000 block of West 47th Street. He was armed with a handgun.
He stole cash from an employee before fleeing the restaurant in an unknown direction.
There were no injuries reported, and no one is in custody.
Detectives from Area Five are conducting an investigation.
