Cherokee Nation Marshals arrest a Stilwell woman accused of stealing a pickup from a dealership, running from police and driving onto the Sequoyah High School football field and driving in circles on their recently installed turf.
The Cherokee Nation says the field hadn’t even seen its first full season.
The Cherokee Nation says Marshals arrested Maggie Caudle after she stole a pickup and ended up on the campus of Sequoyah High School this afternoon.
They say she stole the truck from Stuteville Ford, about 6 minutes away from the school.
They say she drove through a total of 5 fences and did more donuts around the practice softball field, before getting onto the interstate.
She was arrested about an hour later.
The Cherokee Nation says school was in session at the time and no one was hurt.
They say they’re glad it didn’t happen a couple of hours later, during a the baseball game with lots of people attending.
