RawNews1st – The Fresno Police Department is investigating a deputy-involved
shooting that occurred on Thursday, August 11, 2022, near San Jose & Valentine Avenue.
The shooting involved deputies with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect in the case has been identified as a white 30-year-old female, by the name of Mariah Spate from Clearlake, CA. Spate was shot by deputies and is listed in stable condition at an area hospital.
The investigation into this deputy-involved shooting is ongoing.
However, investigators have determined that Spate was armed with a handgun during this incident.
