MANCHESTER, N.H. —Two shooting incidents in Manchester early Friday morning are under investigation.
Around 1:45 a.m., police received a report of a shooting, and the caller made reference to the Jewel Nightclub.
Shortly thereafter, a vehicle arrived at Elliot Hospital and dropped off four gunshot victims, police said.
Dy’vee Spencer, 21, and Jose Jusino, 21, both of Springfield, Massachusetts, were taken into custody, police said.
Spencer was charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, conduct after an accident, resisting arrest and disobeying a police officer.
Jusino was charged with resisting arrest.
The officers who were involved in that pursuit showed significant restraint (and) professionalism in taking those two individuals into custody,” Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said.
The gunshot Hondros heard is still being investigated, police said.
Police said it is too early to tell if both incidents are connected.
Police said the motives of the shootings are not known but will be investigated.“I also want to take a moment as I hope everyone can see, just how seriously Chief Aldenberg and I take any conduct involving violent crime.
We take it very seriously and we will utilize any and all resources available to ensure that a thorough investigation is completed in this particular instance and that any individual involved is held accountable,” New Hampshire State Police Colonel Nate Noyes said.
