A man was shot in the yard outside his Roseland home on Thursday morning.
The victim, 38, was shot twice in the left knee outside the first block of West 110th Street around 2:22 a.m., according to Chicago police.
The shooter was walking through a nearby alley when he opened fire before fleeing the scene.
The victim was transported in good condition to Christ Medical Center.
There have been no arrests reported. Area Two detectives are looking into it.
