A man was shot in the groin in the Little Village neighborhood on Thursday morning.
The 20-year-old was walking in the 2500 block of South Washtenaw Avenue around 5:30 a.m. when someone in a white van began shooting in his direction, according to police.
The victim was shot in the groin once and self-transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
As Area Four detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
