A man was shot in a parked car in the Wentworth Gardens neighborhood early Friday.
According to police, the 49-year-old was parked in his vehicle around midnight when gunfire erupted in the 200 block of West Pershing Road.
He was shot in the right shoulder and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition by paramedics.
As Area One detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
