MAN TAKEN TO POPLAR BLUFF HOSPITAL WITH NON LIFE THREATNING INJURIES AFTER BEING SHOT IN RIPLEY COUNTY
A Butler County man suffered non-life threatening injuries following a shooting Tuesday in Ripley County.
Ripley County Sheriff Mike Barton tells KWOC News that the man was shot in the head at around 11 am on Highway 160 east near M Highway.
The man was transported to a Poplar Bluff hospital for treatment.
Barton says that the woman who allegedly shot the man was questioned however no arrests have been made at this time.
The man and woman were acquaintances.
The names of both the man and the woman were not released.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing by the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, the Doniphan Police Department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
