Man released after serving 2 years of a 12-year sentence for attempted mrder is now accused of klling his girlfriend
Frezja Baker, 31, was last seen on Dec. 4 at a gas station
Her family said it was unusual for her to go days without contacting anyone, especially her 2-year-old son
They said she was last seen with a man described as an “associate”
On Thursday, CMPD announced it was conducting a death investigation.
Police later arrested 38-year-old Lorenza Thomas Inman Jr. in Maxton, about 100 miles southeast of Charlotte.
Inman is jailed and charged with m*rder, assault on a female, and misdemeanor domestic
A mother in North Carolina who was last seen more than a week ago was found dead in her car outside of a church.
Sources confirmed on Dec. 11 that 31-year-old Frezja Baker’s car was found at the church on the corner of Sanders Avenue and Campus Street, right off Beatties Ford Road.
The next morning, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said her body was in the car.
