A man is in custody in Texas, accused of beating a Lawton woman to death with a brick and dumping her body in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.
The affidavit for Tevin Semien, says he told FBI agents, he did it, because his girlfriend repeatedly asked him to.
It says on May 17th, the victim’s body was found and she had been beaten in the head and face.
It says agents went to the victim’s home in Lawton and found blood and signs of a violent struggle and the victim’s vehicle was missing.
It says law enforcement officers spotted someone driving that vehicle on May 21st in Dallas and when they tried to pull over the driver, he took off, but, eventually crashed into a lake and he and his passenger were arrested.
The affidavit say Semien was driving and his girlfriend was the passenger.
It says Semien’s girlfriend is related to the victim and when she asked Semien the first time, to kill the woman, Semien wasn’t sure his girlfriend was serious.
It says the girlfriend kept asking, so Semien agreed and drove to the victim’s home, beat her to death with a brick, loaded her body into the trunk of the victim’s car, then dumped her in the Wildlife Refuge.
He’s facing a murder charge in federal court.
He’ll be extradited to OK to face the charge.
