A man is facing charges in connection with a shooting that injured another man in the Gage Park neighborhood on Sunday.
Jose Martinez, 41, surrendered to police on Tuesday and was charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm, according to officials.
Martinez is accused of shooting a 39-year-old man in the 3400 block of West 59th Street, according to police.
He’s due to appear in bond court on Wednesday.
